Visit of Chinese academics to Panteion University & meeting with GAPE

On 7-10-2019, a visit was made to the Panteion University by a delegation of five academic representatives of the Institute of Economics of the Chinese Academy of Economics, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (IE CASS) and the World Society for Political Economy WAPE). The visit was at the invitation of the Scientific Society for Political Economy (EIPO) and in preparation for the WAPE 2020 International Conference to be held at Panteion University (30/7/2020 – 2/8/2020) and co-organized by the Scientific Society Political Economy (HIPC) and Panteion University.

During the visit of the Chinese delegation was signed by the Rector of Panteion Ms. Kriaris and IE CASS Associate Professor Hu Leming Academic Cooperation Agreement between the two institutions. The agreement provides for the organization of joint conferences, the exchange of academic staff and other academic activities.

The same day, the WAPE delegation met with members of the GAPE. During the meeting were discussed issues related to the co-organization of the WAPE 2020 conference (30/7/2020 – 2/8/2020).
