The heritage of Greek philosophy and mythology in political economy
12-13 June 2020, University of Thessaly, Volos Campus, Volos, Greece
Scholars wishing to present a paper are asked to send their proposal before 31 January 2020 to GreekHeritageVolos2020@uth.gr
Also those who wish to participate without a paper are kindly requested to contact the address given.
Volos can be reached by plane, bus, train, car or any other convenient means of transport (bicycle, donkey, on foot etc.). Town and neighborhood offer numerous sightseeing opportunities, including climbing Mount Olympus and meeting with Zeus (if available).
The conference fee is 100 Euros and covers meals and coffee breaks during the conference.
Unfortunately, there are no funds available to finance travel expenses and accommodation of participants from our side. People attending the conference are asked to approach their home institutions for financial support.
All relevant information concerning programme, accommodation etc. will be disseminated in due course.
There are plans to publish the proceedings of the conference in terms of a selection of papers.
