Publication of the WAPE 2024 Forum Proceedings

The Greek Association of Political Economy is pleased to announce the publication of the e-book containing the proceedings of the 17th World Association for Political Economy (WAPE) Forum held from August 2–4, 2024, at Panteion University in Athens, Greece. 

The volume brings together selected papers presented during the Forum, reflecting the rich discussions, critical perspectives, and scholarly contributions developed throughout the conference. It includes research and analyses on key issues in political economy, with a particular focus on contemporary challenges facing the global and regional economy, development, labour, inequality, imperialism, and the future of economic and social transformation.

The publication of these proceedings aims to preserve and disseminate the intellectual outcomes of the Forum, while also contributing to the broader international dialogue within the field of political economy.

The Greek Association of Political Economy warmly thanks all contributors, participants, and members of the organizing and scientific committees for their valuable role in the success of the WAPE Forum 2024 in Athens and for the publication of the proceedings.
