Inequality and Unemployment in the time of COVID-19

Dear Colleagues,
On behalf of the Organizing Committee, it is our sincere pleasure to invite you to attend and participate in the 13th International Conference on Political Economy (ICOPEC 2022). The ICOPEC 2022 will be held on 23th – 25th June 2022 as a blended (hybrid format) with both onsite (Beykoz University Kavacık Campus) and virtual versions (through Zoom) to accommodate all participants. The main theme and scope of the conference have been identified as Inequality and Unemployment in the time of COVID-19. This conference aims to identify the inequality and unemployment consequences of COVID-19 and investigate what can be done for a better World. Apart from its main theme, ICOPEC 2022 invites and welcomes all contributions that enrich the perspectives of the Political Economy and expand the ground for better policy analyses and making. ICOPEC 2022 organized by Panteion University, Westminster University, VUZF University, Georgian Technical University, Universidad Autónoma de Zacatecas, Beykoz University, Kinnaird College for Women, University of Belgrade, Ankara University Political Science Faculty, Ostrava Technical University, Pontifical Catholic University, Batman University, Celal Bayar University, Greek Political Economy Association, Piedmont Institute for Social and Economic Research, Okan University, and IJOPEC Publishing.
The conference languages are English and Turkish. The deadline for Early Bird abstract submission is 07th May 2022. The paper abstracts must be between 150 and 250 words. You will receive notification of approval by 10th May 2022. The deadline for full paper submission for proceedings (Not Obligatory) is 09th June 2022.
All abstracts and full papers will be peer-reviewed before they are accepted and they are published before the conference in the proceedings. Participants will access all conference documents (Conference Program Book, Conference Abstract Book, Certificate of Participation, and Proceedings Book) through the website.
After the conference, the revised papers that satisfy at least two referees will be published as edited international book chapters in English by IJOPEC Publication with ISBN in October 2022 without any extra cost.
